On Thursday, September 7th, Kohl’s Lynwood department store sold for $15.2 million, according to public records filed with Snohomish county. The buyer was Trinity Partnership Real Estate Development, a company that develops residential properties throughout Seattle. The seller was Bellevue-based Sterling Realty.
Located at 18405 Alderwood Mall Pkwy., Kohl’s Lynnwood is a chain department store that offers a wide selection of brand-name accessories, homewares and clothing. The store is located in Alderwood Mall, a major retail center for the surrounding neighborhoods. The property is located about three miles to the northeast of Lynnwood’s town center, with immediate access to Interstate 405.
Founded in 1976, Trinity Partnership develops residential properties throughout Seattle. The company offers housing in the U-District, Northgate, Maple Leaf, Wallingford and Queen Anne neighborhoods. Some of the company’s developments include the Adria apartments and the Barclay Apartments, located in the U-District, and the Carolyn Court Apartments to the north in the Seattle’s Greenwood neighborhood.
The company is located on the edge of Portage Bay, two miles to the east of downtown Fremont and just one mile to the west of University of Washington.
Founded in 1912, locally-owned Sterling Realty Organization manages roughly 1.9 million square feet of retail, office and office park space throughout Washington and Oregon, according to its web site.
Neither the buyer nor the seller responded for comment regarding the details of the transaction.
