Savills Studley Bolsters Seattle Office with Experienced Tenant-Rep Broker Chris Kagi

SEATTLE (September 15, 2017) – Savills Studley, the leading commercial real estate firm specializing in tenant representation, announced that Chris Kagi has joined its Seattle office as an Associate Director, bolstering the company’s presence in the Pacific Northwest. Derek Pedersen also joins the company as an Associate.

Kagi brings over 13 years of commercial real estate experience to the company. He specializes in representing tenants’ lease requirements through every stage of the process, from financial analysis and lease review to construction and final move in. In addition to the Puget Sound market, Kagi also services national portfolios for several large companies based throughout the Northwest. Prior to joining Savills Studley, Kagi was a tenant-rep broker at Flinn Ferguson Corporate Real Estate.

“As we grow our local team, adding the right talent is critical,” said Eric Blohm, Senior Managing Director and Branch Manager at Savills Studley. “Chris has an exceptional track record of tenant representation and is an ideal complement to our practice.”

“Savills Studley’s global platform and legacy as the top tenant-rep firm in the business allow me to offer best-in-class resources to my clients,” said Kagi. “I look forward to starting a new chapter alongside the elite team that the company has built and continues to grow here in Seattle.”

The hire comes closely on the heels of Savills Studley’s announcement to relocate its Seattle office to the Russell Investments Center, another testament to the company’s plan to aggressively grow its Seattle presence which began with the hire of Eric Blohm, Eric Leland and José Oncina in 2016. Savills Studley’s Seattle office serves Pacific Northwest tenants with a full complement of conflict-free workforce, workplace and real estate services including brokerage, project management, capital markets, workplace strategy, occupier services, critical facilities, industrial services and consulting.

Pedersen will support the Seattle office’s research and data analytics functions. He recently graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in economics.
