Latitude Development Leases 234,000 SQFT to OnTrac Logistics at Baywood Park in Everett

Everett, WA – Latitude Development announced that it leased 234,458 square feet to OnTrac Logistics at Baywood Park in Everett.

OnTrac Logistics will occupy the 234,458 square foot building at the newly developed Baywood Park, located on approximately 12.5 acres. Latitude Development purchased the development site from Port of Everett in May of 2021 after working with the Port for an extended period of time to receive entitlements.

Baywood Park features a parklike setting in a waterfront location, 30’ clear height, a double loaded building with abundant dock-high and grade-level loading doors, generous truck maneuvering areas and a public walking trail that surrounds the development. The location allows easy access to points north and south via I-5 and SR-529.

“We are extremely pleased to be able to lease the entire building to OnTrac prior to completion and help the Port bring significant new jobs to the City of Everett. We look forward to helping OnTrac occupy the building toward the end of the year.”

OnTrac Logistics currently has two (2) South End facilities, in Kent and Fife respectively, that serve the entire Puget Sound area. With tremendous growth in e-commerce delivery demand, OnTrac sought to pursue a North End location. It expects to be operational prior to the Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday season. OnTrac will create over 400 jobs at the new facility when at full capacity, providing additional employment opportunities to residents and a boost to the local economy. OnTrac’s expansion to Everett comes as the company merges with LaserShip, the largest regional e-commerce parcel carrier in the U.S., to create the first pure-play, transcontinental last-mile delivery network for ecommerce deliveries.

“OnTrac has been investing in its infrastructure to help e-commerce retailers build capacity and flexibility within their supply chains to reach their customers with faster, reliable last-mile delivery,” said Josh Dinneen, Chief Commercial Officer at LaserShip/OnTrac. “We’re excited to expand our presence to Everett and further our commitment in the Puget Sound area, while welcoming more employees to our team.”

The Port of Everett has done a tremendous job working through environmental challenges of several development sites in Everett. The OnTrac Logistics lease is just the latest example of The Port’s successful efforts to convert underutilized land parcels into development sites that become homes for businesses, creating jobs and providing support for the local economy.

“I’m thrilled that OnTrac will create over 400 well-paying jobs in Everett. The city thanks both the project’s development team and the Port of Everett, who revitalized the dormant Bay Wood site by completing the necessary shoreline cleanup and habitat restoration. Our entire Waterfront is truly coming to life!”
