CHICAGO–Equity Office, a U.S. office company wholly owned by Blackstone’s real estate funds that oversees approximately 47 million square feet of Class A office space, today announced the appointment of Simon Wasserberger as Senior Vice President and Portfolio Director. Wasserberger oversees operations for New York City, where he is based, and leads value creation efforts for the NYC portfolio.

Wasserberger previously served as Managing Director at L&L Holding Company in New York City. During his tenure, he led several successful redevelopment projects including 390 Madison Avenue in Midtown Manhattan, 150 Fifth Avenue in the Flatiron District and 222 Broadway in Lower Manhattan. Prior to joining L&L Holding Company in 2010, he worked at CB Richard Ellis for six years where he led the leasing efforts for several Manhattan properties. He has also worked for Tishman Speyer Properties handling the leasing of Rockefeller Center and several high profile properties in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco and other key markets.
