A new Deloitte and PitchBook report tracking a record $2.26 trillion in U.S. expansion-stage company exits during the first half of 2026 shows the gains pooling in the Bay Area, Dallas, New York and Denver, while Seattle fails to appear among the top 10 regions by either exit value or exit count despite the AI leasing momentum building across Puget Sound.
