Rascoff receives approval rating of 94 percent based on Zillow Group employee reviews from Glassdoor

SEATTLE, June 8, 2016 — Zillow Group CEO Spencer Rascoff has been awarded Glassdoor’s Highest Rated CEO recognition for 2016. Rascoff received an approval rating of 94 percent based on the anonymous and voluntary reviews Zillow Group employees shared on Glassdoor® over the past year. Overall, he ranks 23rd on the list for CEOs of large U.S. companies.

Rascoff was previously recognized in 2014 as one of Glassdoor’s Highest Ranking CEOs for small and mid-sized companies. Zillow Group now has over 2,400 employees and eight different office locations.

“This is one of the most meaningful awards I have received in my career,” said Rascoff. “Zillow Group is home to the most incredible employees, and knowing that they think so highly of my work as their CEO is both humbling and inspiring.”

Zillow Group has long been recognized as a best place to work, winning numerous awards across nearly all office locations around the country. Zillow was ranked #10 on Glassdoor’s list of the best companies to work for in America. Most recently, Zillow Group’s New York City brand StreetEasy® was ranked as a Best Place to Work in New York State. Zillow Group’s employee benefits have also been recognized as some of the most impressive in the country, landing on Glassdoor’s list of the Top 20 Employee Benefits and Perks for providing free overnight breastmilk shipping to nursing mothers on business trips.

CEO approval ratings are gathered through Glassdoor’s online company review survey, which seeks to gain current and former employee sentiment about job and company satisfaction, the work environment and the culture. Employees are asked to rate a number of workplace factors like compensation and benefits as well as work-life balance, and asked whether they approve or disapprove of the way their CEO is leading the company.
