Seattle, June 6, 2019 – Earlier this month, California-based online Asian supermarket giant Weee! relocated its Seattle distribution center to a 20,532-square-foot warehouse just south of downtown at 1950 6th Avenue S. Weee! was founded in 2015 in San Jose with a mission to become the primary source of groceries for Asian-Americans. The company offers more than 2,000 products not commonly available in larger supermarkets, delivered to the customer’s doorstep.
Co-founder and CEO Larry Liu noted, “Building on our success in California, we chose Seattle, another major technology center, as our second hub, bringing our grocery delivery service to a higher level with a larger audience.”
In less than four years, Weee! has become the largest Asian grocery delivery business in the United States, with over $35 million in annual revenue and 150% growth year-over-year. The company’s Seattle operation has seen trifold revenue growth in the four months since it established its first distribution center.

Weee! recently completed an A+ round of capital injection, with over $10 million invested by key venture capital groups like iFly.vc, Goodwater, Silicon Valley Bank, Welight and ZCapital. With that support, Weee! is confident and committed to covering 20 major U.S. cities in the next three years.
