Wave Announces New Company Headquarters Through Lease with ‘Kirkland Urban’ Development

KIRKLAND, Wash.–Wave (www.wavebroadband.com), a gigabit fiber and broadband services company, today announced that it has finalized and signed a 10-year lease to be a primary tenant in the new Kirkland Urban development. Setting Kirkland Urban as its new corporate headquarters, Wave will occupy three floors and approximately 88,000 square feet within an eight-story building, one of two primary towers slated to be part of the redevelopment.

Wave, which has been based in the adjacent Kirkland Parkplace development since 2003, expects to move into its new headquarters in Spring 2018. Wave also will have prominent signage on the top of the office building’s exterior.

Wave currently occupies approximately 42,000 square feet in its existing headquarters, where approximately 450 of Wave’s more than 1,300 employees are based. During construction, Wave will continue to operate out of its longstanding headquarters. The company has structured a moving plan to ensure that the transition does not affect customer service or other vital company operations.
