Citrus in June and Rare Tea are now open at the mixed-use development   

Kirkland, Wash. (March 7, 2023) – Kirkland Urban announced today the addition of two new retailers at the popular Eastside mixed-use development: Citrus in June and Rare Tea.  

Citrus in June 
Citrus in June opened its doors at Kirkland Urban in December 2022, just in time to offer a curated selection of flower arrangements, gifts and home décor to holiday shoppers. The pop-up shop is the sister shop to Columbia City Bouquet and SLU Bouquet, two full-service flower shops in Seattle.

“Citrus in June was developed to be more than just a retail destination,” said owner Emily Kopca. “We have created a space where people can walk in with the goal of self-care, but also to find things that help them connect to others.”

Rare Tea 
With 30 locations currently spread across the United States, Rare Tea’s arrival at Kirkland Urban marks its first location in the state of Washington. Rare Tea is known for using high-quality ingredients, including fresh produce in their fruit drinks, and their menu includes a wide variety of beverages and snacks to appeal to guests of all ages.
