Dallas-based commercial real estate leader honored for company performance, industry leadership and commitment to corporate responsibility
June 27 2017 – NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association, has selected Trammell Crow Company as the 2017 Developer of the Year – the association’s highest honor.
Headquartered in Dallas, Trammell Crow Company (TCC) is a leader in the commercial real estate industry, providing a full range of development and investment services to commercial real estate occupiers and investors for nearly 70 years. TCC is the largest commercial real estate developer in the U.S. with $6.7 billion in active projects in process, and an additional $4.1 billion of projects in the pipeline at the end of 2016.

The 2017 Developer of the Year award will be presented on Thursday, October 12, at NAIOP’s CRE.Converge conference in Chicago. TCC was selected from an impressive slate of nominees and was evaluated by a team of seasoned developers on the following criteria: outstanding quality of projects and services; active support of the industry through NAIOP; financial consistency and stability; ability to adapt to market conditions; and support of the local community.
Since 1979, the Developer of the Year award has been presented to a development company that best exemplifies leadership and innovation. Past recipients include Prologis, Majestic Realty Co., The JBG Companies and CenterPoint Properties, among others.
