MOSES LAKE, Wash. – December 7, 2022 – Third Security, LLC, an investment management firm based in Radford, Virginia, announced the launch of Moses Lake Commerce center, a brand new 42-acre industrial development adjacent to Grant County International Airport in Moses Lake, Washington. The project is commencing with the construction of a 108,000-square-foot temperature controlled, food-grade processing facility including warehouse and offices situated on 10 acres. The facility is expected to initially employ approximately 60 workers in various roles.
Moses Lake Commerce Center is the first industrial park in Grant County to offer companies seeking production, warehouse, processing, or other industrial facilities with a lease or purchase option, built to suit. Strategically located at the northeast corner of the intersection of Randolph Road NE and Road 7 NE, Moses Lake Commerce Center offers an additional 32 acres of industrial land that could support up to 692,000 square feet in five unique Class A buildings. Each building site can be adapted to a buyer or tenant’s specific needs. Additionally, the property is situated in a qualified opportunity zone census tract, which may provide federal income tax benefits to purchasers or tenants1.

Third Security, LLC, the lead investor in the project, manages a portfolio of operating biotechnology companies. Third Security has engaged Hansen-Rice, Inc.an integrated design-build general contractor based in Nampa, Idaho with 39 years of experience in providing solutions that benefit its clients, to plan, design and construct the facility in Moses Lake Commerce Center. Hansen-Rice, Inc is participating as an investor and master planner for the Moses Lake Commerce Center.
