After listing a two-building office property in Everett earlier this year, The RMR Group has sold the property for $31.5 million, or about $281 per square foot. According to public records, the property was acquired by Everett WA I SGF LLC, an entity affiliated with Boyd Watterson.
Totaling 111,908 square feet, the property is located at 840 N. Broadway. Separately, the buildings are 71,780 and just over 40,100 per square feet in size.
Both buildings are currently fully leased to the State of Washington, which utilizes the property for its Department of Social and Health Services unit.
The property is located in Northwest Everett near the Everett Community College. The office asset is also located near State Route 529, providing easy access to the rest of the Seattle metropolitan area.
According to previous reporting from The Registry, the property was placed up for sale earlier in March, with guidance pricing set at $28 million, or about $250 per square foot. The property was listed by CBRE.
The RMR Group previously acquired the asset in June of 2012. At the time, the property was purchased for $20.5 million, or about $183 per square foot.
The Newton, Mass.-based company currently owns 2,100 properties throughout the United States as well as in Canada and Puerto Rico.
