Damian Manolis joins the Swift Real Estate Partners team as its new CIO
San Francisco, Calif. (January 29, 2018) — Swift Real Estate Partners (“Swift”), a West Coast focused real estate investment platform, has announced the addition of Damian Manolis as its new Chief Investment Officer.
Damian had an impressive 24 year career with PGIM Real Estate (formerly Prudential Real Estate Investors), where he most recently served as head of its U.S. Transactions Group and Chair of its Investment Committee. In this role he had responsibility for all real estate acquisitions, dispositions, development and capital markets activities on behalf of the firm’s U.S. focused investment vehicles. Damian brings a diverse array of experiences to Swift, including two years in Singapore leading Prudential’s regional business. During this time he orchestrated the consolidation of two closed-end real estate funds into the SGD $3 billion AsiaRetail open-end fund.
As Swift’s new CIO, Damian will work closely with the portfolio and asset management teams, overseeing Swift’s investment infrastructure. He will also play a key role in fundraising activities and investor relations. Founded in 2010, Swift related entities have raised approximately $1 billion in equity. Swift’s most recent fundraising effort for Fund II was completed in record time and totaled more than $400 million in equity. Approximately $560 million of discretionary buying power remains immediately available for deployment for Fund II assets.
