SkB Architects Sell Belltown Office Building for $14.3MM

SkB Architects sold their Belltown office building for $14.3 million or $882 per square foot to Hot Rain LLC, associated with Seattle investors Hao Chen and Hongbin Zhang after owning the property since 2012.

SkB originally purchased the property at 2333 Third Ave. for $3.65 million or $225 per square foot in February 2012. Included in the sale is the 16,208 square foot property which also includes a smaller 3,254 square foot retail space just south of 2333 Third Ave.

There are currently no plans filed with the city for the property but zoning allows for residential and commercial towers of up to 125 feet and 65 feet, respectively.

SkB has worked on several projects in the Seattle area including 400 Fairview, a 14 floor LEED Platinum building in South Lake Union, the new KEXP studio at Seattle Center and a number of workplace studios and offices including Tommy Bahama, Skype, Napster, PopCap.
