Several Townhomes Near Lynnwood’s Martha Lake Sell for $35.2MM

Lynnwood has seen a significant number of transactions over the past several months. Most recently, several townhomes have sold for $35.2 million. According to Snohomish County public records, the properties were sold by Martha Lake Townhomes LLC, an entity affiliated with Eleanor Freeman, Chester West and Jeffrey Freeman of West Freeman Properties. The buyer in the transaction was an entity affiliated with Martha Lake Properties LLC, which is linked to Eric Carlson of Bellevue. 

The properties are located just south of Martha Lake at 429 164th Street SW, 16309 2nd Place West and 16221 North Road. 

According to Zillow, the first property at 164th Street is a three-story, 1,6450 square foot townhouse, featuring two bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms. The property along 2nd Place totals 1,500 square feet and features three bedrooms, while the final property totals 1,650 square feet and also offers two bedrooms. 

The properties are all located within walking distance of one another. As well as their close proximity to Martha Lake, the townhouses are also near local restaurants and shopping options. Interstate 5 and 405 are also a short drive from each property, offering convenient access to downtown Seattle and other neighboring communities in the Puget Sound.  

In general, Lynnwood has seen a large number of transactions over the past several months, including another recent residential sale near Martha Lake. The 63-unit apartment complex, Meadows at Martha Lake Apartments, was sold by First Northwest Development for $22.2 million, or about $352,380 per unit. According to Snohomish County records, the property was sold to 16130 Magnolia LLC, a private entity associated with Ajit Sukesan. 

Additionally, Kaylan Hospitality recently sold the Hilton Garden Inn, which is located at 3801 Alderwood Mall Boulevard. The 154-room hotel was sold to Palma Investment Co. for $31.8 million, or about $206,493, according to previous reporting from The Registry.
