Kiddie Academy franchisee Devinder Singh Josan has added an additional childcare center to his portfolio with a recent $12.3 million purchase. According to King County public records, the property, located in Seattle’s Queen Anne neighborhood, was sold to Josan by AGM Real Estate, a Bellevue-based real estate investment company.
The 17,046 square-foot building is located at 601 Valley Street. The building was completed in 1969 and stands two stories high, according to property records.
The Queen Anne location is located on the corner of Valley Street and 6th Avenue, near various residential and retail properties. Additionally, several commercial properties border the site, including both Amazon and Facebook. The property is also in close proximity to State Road 99, providing easy access to the rest of Seattle.
The Valley Street property is just one of six Kiddie Academy locations owned by Josan. The franchisee owns half a dozen properties in Bothell, Bellevue, Kenmore, Kirkland, Mill Creek and Seattle.

Kiddie Academy was founded nearly 40 years ago and serves children ages 6 weeks to 12 years old through after-school programs, summer camps, early learning curriculum and other programming. Currently, there are more than 260 franchised Kiddie Academy centers located throughout 29 states and Washington D.C.
