WASHINGTON, DC — Robert G. Thornburgh, SIOR, CCIM, CPM, partner and executive vice president of Kidder Mathews in Los Angeles, California, was recently installed as the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors ® (SIOR) 2018 President-Elect. The installation took place during the October 25-28 SIOR Fall World Conference in Chicago, Illinois. Thornburgh will assume the presidency of SIOR in the Fall of 2018.
Thornburgh is a member of Kidder Mathews executive leadership team, directly involved with the firm’s overall vision, growth, and strategy. Before joining Kidder Mathews, he was previously the CEO of Heger Industrial (now Kidder Mathews). His highly successful and respected career stems from over 20 years of faithful service to his clients, industry, and community. Robert’s breadth and depth of experience in the market are the direct result of his concentrated focus on assisting property owners with the leasing, sale, and acquisition of industrial real estate throughout Southern California.
He proudly holds three of the most respected designations within the commercial real estate industry – SIOR, Society of Industrial and Office Realtors, CCIM, Certified Commercial Investment Member, and CPM, Certified Property Manager through the Institute of Real Estate Management. This is a distinction that less than one percent of all national Commercial Real Estate practitioners hold. Thornburgh is also immersed within various local, prominent organizations.
