Seattle, WA (June 2021) – Tarragon is pleased to announce the signing of a 500,000 SF lease with Nordstrom, Inc. (“Nordstrom”), at its SeaPORT Logistics Center. Nordstrom has pre-leased Building 3 at the Class A Industrial Park located in Sumner, WA. This is the fourth building of the 2.7 million SF assemblage and will have 40-foot interior clear heights, 9-inch fully reinforced slab, minimum 130-foot truck courts, and a fully secured site.

Nordstrom will be enhancing the buildout with state-of-the-art material handling systems, extensive employee office and amenities, a fully conditioned warehouse, additional power and full generator backup of the power system. The expected completion is Quarter One of 2022. The brokers involved in this deal were Derek Trulson, Scott Carter, Chris Spofford of JLL and John Gilliland, and John Sullivan of the Seattle office of CBRE.
Strategically located in Sumner’s thriving industrial core, SeaPORT Logistics Center provides convenient access to State Route 167 and the Interstate 5 corridor and proximity to the Port of Seattle, Port of Tacoma, and SeaTac International Airport. The SeaPORT site also has excellent visibility from 8th Street E and East Valley Highway E and is well-suited to accommodate industrial traffic with signalized access, a four-lane lighted entry road, and thoughtful truck circulation.

SeaPORT Logistics Center has been a 20-year endeavor for the Tarragon team as they continue to create a state-of-the-art industrial park for the area’s thriving industrial market. Upon completion, the industrial park will likely consist of eight buildings at full build-out.
