(Seattle, WA – January 14, 2020) Duke Realty (NYSE: DRE), the leading domestic only, pure-play logistics property REIT (Real Estate Investment Trust) in the United States, has named Mark Hosfeld, Vice President and Market Leader for the company’s Seattle operations. In his new position, Mr. Hosfeld will be responsible for leasing the company’s existing logistics properties in the Seattle metro area, as well as identifying new development and construction opportunities. In addition, he will pursue and evaluate investments, focusing on land, building acquisitions and build-to-suit and multi-tenant development opportunities.
A 22-year associate of Duke Realty, Mr. Hosfeld has been instrumental in growing the company’s presence in Indianapolis, where he has been directly responsible for the development of more than 30 million square feet of logistics space near Indianapolis International Airport and off I-65 between Indianapolis and Chicago.
“Mark has been one of our most successful leasing and development associates, working closely with many of today’s leading businesses to find the best logistics space for their operations whether it’s a build-to-suit or occupying space in one of our existing assets. Mr. Hosfeld joined Duke Realty in 1998 as a Leasing Representative in Cincinnati. At the end of 2000, he relocated to Indianapolis and was promoted to Vice President of Leasing and Development in 2014, overseeing a more than 16 million-square-foot portfolio and a 500-acre joint venture. Mark has been highly successful in the Indianapolis market, which has earned him inclusion in the company’s Masters Club five times and Salesperson of the Year twice.
