Issaquah School District Breaks Ground on Scaled-Down $168MM Choice High School After Twice-Failed Bonds

Priced out of a full comprehensive campus by construction inflation and two rejected bond measures, the Issaquah School District has started building a 700-student, open-enrollment choice high school on 40 acres it has owned near Sammamish since 2016, with Skanska leading a phased construction contract and doors set to open in fall 2027.
