Company Also Plans To Build 16 Detached, Single-Family Homes in 2020
BELLEVUE, Wash. (July 30, 2019) – Ichijo USA has announced it will open its first model duplex at Ten Trails on Friday, August 9th from 6 to 9 pm as part of the master-planned community’s Sunset Markets. During their Grand Opening, visitors to the two new model homes will receive a free dinner at one of the event’s food trucks, along with prize giveaways. The company has plans to build 28 individual duplex homes at Ten Trails with half of them to be completed in 2019.
All Ichijo homes at Ten Trails feature high quality wall-panel construction, pre-assembled with wall framing, windows, weather barriers, furring strips, two-inch additional exterior insulation and rainscreens to improve material durability, water management and obstructing heat gains – all designed to improve indoor air or environmental quality. Each Ichijo home is built solar ready so that panels may be included with the purchase of a home or added later. Ichijo is aiming for Built Green certification for its Ten Trails homes with features designed to achieve roughly a third in energy cost savings.
The Ichijo duplexes at Ten Trails will have a choice of two floor plans: The Sawyer is a 2,320 square foot, traditional two-story, three-bedroom home with a den on the main level. The kitchen features an island and walk-in pantry with plenty of storage. In the living room there is a cozy gas fireplace adjacent to the large covered patio. Upstairs, you will find three bedrooms, including a spacious master suite with walk-in closet and five-piece bath. Adjacent to the two additional bedrooms is a bonus/family room, bathroom and laundry room.
The contemporary Danville floor plan, at 2,132 square feet, features a master-on-main with an open living/dining and kitchen area that look out onto the covered patio. Upstairs you will find two bedrooms, a bathroom, a family room as well as a multi-purpose room that could serve as an additional bedroom.
Both plans come in the homebuyer’s choice of either a warm or cool interior palette and three different exterior color schemes, with pricing for the duplexes starting in the mid-$400,000 range. Current plans call for six Danville plan homes and 22 of the Sawyer model.
Known for its eco-friendly and innovative building practices, Ichijo USA recently began construction on 16 detached, alley load single-family homes at Ten Trails, available in early 2020. The two floor plans for these homes are the four-bedroom Cottonwood at 2,449 square feet and the three-bedroom, 2,287 square foot Maplewood, both featuring two and a half bathrooms, two-car garages and optional solar panel installation as well as all the exceptional and innovative building practices, finishes and features for which Ichijo is known.
