Holmes Expands into Seattle

Beginning January 2019, Holmes Fire expands its West Coast presence with a new Seattle office. Bob Pielow, with over 35 years of fire engineering experience and strong roots throughout the Pacific Northwest, joins Holmes Fire Seattle as Project Director. Bob’s expansive portfolio of landmark projects includes the Seattle Central Library, Washington State Convention Center, and Safeco Field. His local presence will now be backed by Holmes Fire’s robust team of over 80 fire engineers. Through Bob’s experience, shared values, and commitment to clients, Holmes Fire is looking forward to establishing strong community relationships throughout the Pacific Northwest.

From beginnings fueled by the vision and enthusiasm of co-founders Hamish Maclennan and Martin Feeney, Holmes Fire was established in 1994. Today, Holmes Fire services projects throughout the US, Australia, New Zealand, and the Middle East from offices in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Queenstown, Hawke’s Bay, and now Seattle. All Holmes Fire engineers have specialist training in fire engineering and many are also Accredited and Chartered Professional Engineers.
