Corner 63 Will Feature 139 Units with Expansive Amenity Collection
Seattle – August 13, 2021 – High Street Residential (HSR), the residential subsidiary of Trammell Crow Company, has broken ground on Corner 63, a 139-unit residential community in Seattle. The seven-story transit-oriented development, located in Seattle’s Roosevelt submarket, is expected to be complete in Spring of 2023 and is being developed by a joint venture between HSR and a MetLife Investment Management client.
Corner 63 will be comprised of a mix of studio, one- and two-bedroom units, with select units offering balconies and patios. Residents will have access to an expansive amenity collection, including a co-working space, a fitness center, a club room, a bike repair facility, a pet spa and secure subterranean garage parking. Outdoor amenities will include a ground-floor courtyard connected to the lobby and club room, a dog walk, and an expansive rooftop deck with barbeque grills and firepit.
“Our team is excited to begin construction on our first multifamily development in Seattle, where demand for thoughtfully designed, luxury apartments continues to increase,” said Alan Cantlin of High Street Residential’s Seattle office. “Corner 63 is in an incredibly well-located area of the Roosevelt submarket, affording our future residents easy access to Seattle and Bellevue via the nearby light rail station, while also offering exceptional walkability to a vibrant neighborhood with a variety of recreational, dining and entertainment options.”
Located at 6300 Ninth Avenue, Corner 63 is situated just four blocks from the Roosevelt Link Light Rail station, which is scheduled to open in October of 2021. The project is also within walking distance of a variety of parks, retail amenities, and the University of Washington. Downtown Seattle is less than six miles south of the site and the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport is a 25-minute drive.
B+H Architects is designing the project and Chinn Construction is acting as the general contractor. Avenue5 will serve as property manager.
