New Executive Will Oversee Chicago Properties and Reconfirms Equity Office’s Commitment to Bringing Local Knowledge and Top Talent to the Market
CHICAGO–Equity Office, a U.S. office platform wholly-owned by Blackstone’s real estate funds, announced today the appointment of David Moore as a Senior Vice President and Portfolio Director responsible for the Chicago market. In this newly created role, Mr. Moore will be responsible for providing the strategic direction and value creation efforts for the Company’s activities in the Chicago area, including the 11 million square feet of existing office properties.

Mr. Moore joins Equity Office from Hines where he was responsible for sourcing, analyzing, underwriting, and driving execution of acquisition and development opportunities across multiple product types of commercial real estate. Also in this role, he led cross-functional design, construction, leasing, accounting, and property management teams on multiple complex development projects.
Prior to his time at Hines, David held analyst positions at Henry Crown and Company and Credit Suisse First Boston. He also started his own company, Red Room Ventures, an outdoor media company.

Mr. Moore holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance from University of Illinois and earned his MBA from Northwestern University. He is also a member of the Urban Land Institute.
