DTG Recycling Pays $30.9MM for 17.7-Acre Site in Snohomish

A 17.77-acre recycling site in Snohomish has recently traded hands. In a deal that closed late last month, an entity affiliated with DTG Recycling acquired the site for $30.9 million. The seller in the transaction is an entity that has been linked to United Recycling, according to King County public records.

The property is located at 19001 Yew Way and utilized by United Recycling as a metal recycling facility. The Snohomish based company offers a number of services, according to its website, including commercial, demolition and organics services. 

The site is located in a largely industrial area, near United Recycling’s other facility at 18827 Yew Way. Other companies nearby include Builders Sand and Gravel and Wyser Construction.

Founded in 1999, DTG’s portfolio includes more than 3,900 containers, a fleet of more than 270 vehicles, 12 material recovery facilities throughout the Puget Sound. 

In late November, an entity affiliated with the company acquired a wood recycling facility in Redmond as well, according to previous reporting from The Registry. All Wood Recycling, which is located at  8504 192nd Ave. NE on 4.7 acres, was purchased for $14 million from GRR Land LLC. This sale was recorded on Nov. 30 and on Dec. 1, Macquarie Asset Management announced that one of its funds completed the acquisition of DTG Recycling.
