SEATTLE, Wash. – Jan. 13, 2020 — DCI Engineers, a civil and structural engineering firm, is pleased to announce the promotion of the following staff to their new roles in the Seattle office.
Gaelyn Krauser, PE, SE, has been promoted to Associate in the Seattle office. She has become a recognized leader at the firm and a familiar face on the campus of her alma mater California Polytechnic State University during career fairs. Since joining DCI, Gaelyn has enhanced her technical skills and project management abilities with commercial, residence, hospitality, mixed-use, high-rise, and tenant improvement projects. Her most notable projects include Downtown Seattle Marriott Residence Inn, Viejas Casino Hotel, SOMA Towers, and Wasatch Superblock in Bellevue. One of her current projects includes the high-profile 1500 Mission in San Francisco. She is involved with in-house technical committees for high-rises, steel and aluminum, concrete, and design loads. Gaelyn is a member of the Post-Tensioning Institute (PTI) and the Seattle chapter of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW).
Eric Pope, PE, SE, has been promoted to Associate in the Seattle office. His engineering contributions and leadership for a variety of residential, commercial, and hospitality projects led to his advancement in the firm. Some of his completed projects include The Danforth and the Murano Senior Living in Seattle. Eric is currently project manager for the 1001 Office Towers in Bellevue. He is involved with in-house technical committees for high-rises, steel and aluminum, concrete, and design loads. Eric is a member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Parks (NAIOP) Washington Chapter and the Structural Engineers Association of Washington (SEAW) Seattle Chapter.
