Demand prompts West Coast growth
SEATTLE, WA (July 12, 2017) – Coffman Engineers (Coffman) is pleased to announce the addition of two senior fire protection engineering professionals to support demand in their west coast offices.
Jon Kapis joined Coffman’s Oakland, California office as a Senior Fire Protection Engineering Technician. His background includes 37 years of design, implementation, and commissioning experience of fire alarm, smoke control, and life safety systems with the industry’s leading manufacturers, suppliers, and consultants. Jon also provides product litigation support as an expert witness and is a leader in Mass Notifications and Emergency Communication Systems. His work experience spans the United States, Pacific, and Asia.
David Gramlich, P.E. joined Coffman’s Seattle, Washington office and has over seven years of international experience as a Fire Protection Engineer, with experience in fire and life safety code compliance, facility assessments, and fire alarm and sprinkler design. David’s background includes work in numerous markets including hospitality, healthcare, commercial, government, corporate real estate, industrial and historical facilities. David is currently working on a variety of projects within the United States ranging from multi-used developments that contain retail, residential, parking and assembly areas to historical buildings with combustible dust hazards.
