Davis Property & Investment has announced the sale of Center Plaza 6 in DuPont Washington to Northwest Carpenters Institute (NWCI). The asset sold for $10,285,000.
Center Plaza 6 – initially a speculative 45,000 SF industrial building part of a six building campus, turned into a 2 story 49,340 SF 40’ clear height build-to-suit and sale at completion to the Northwest Carpenters Institute (NWCI) for a new State of Art Training Center for the Carpenters Institute now named the DuPont Carpenters Training Center.
The project is a demonstration of a “collaborative” development incorporating strategic thinking and intelligent team selection with metrics of economy, quality and client satisfaction to meet the goals of this unique industrial development and connecting its use in form and function to meet the daily needs of the students, instructors, staff and visitors.
Each part of the design was combined to form a single unified space complimenting the owners’ legacy of unity in the industry. Elements of the design accommodate a variety of training uses including classroom, open lab/shop space, specialty craft areas and outdoor training nodes using materials and systems that meet with today’s high sustainability standards to reduce carbon footprint.
