Promotes Linda Koa to Chief Operating Officer and Dan Hirsty to Chief Credit Officer
SEATTLE–Broadmark Realty Capital Inc. (NYSE: BRMK) (the “Company”), today announced the promotions of Ms. Linda Koa to Chief Operating Officer and Mr. Dan Hirsty to Chief Credit Officer.

They have contributed greatly to our growth over the past several years and worked to lead their respective teams through our recent successful merger transaction. As we look ahead, our leadership team is well-positioned to support our organization to drive long term growth as we seek to capitalize on our deep pipeline of originations, utilizing our substantial cash balance,” stated Jeff Pyatt, President and Chief Executive Officer.
Ms. Koa has been with Broadmark Realty Capital since 2017. In her previous role as Vice President of Operations and Client Services, she was responsible for managing operations and the newly launched Private REIT Fund. Prior to joining Broadmark, Ms. Koa was Co-Head of West Coast Operations and Client Services at the financial software firm, Envestnet/Tamarac. Ms. Koa received her Bachelor of Arts and an M.B.A. from the University of Washington and a certificate in Financial Planning.
Mr. Hirsty has been with Broadmark Realty Capital since 2017. In his previous role, he was responsible for monitoring the portfolio’s performance, market research, and oversight of the disposition of the lending funds’ real estate owned assets. Prior to joining Broadmark, Mr. Hirsty worked for BHP Billiton in a financial planning and analysis role. Mr. Hirsty received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Washington and his Master’s degree in Professional Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin. Mr. Hirsty is a Certified Public Accountant and is a CFA charter holder.
