SEATTLE (May 15, 2019) — Berkadia today announced the $15.1 million sale for Anchor Pointe, a 107-unit garden-style multifamily property in Oak Harbor, Washington. Senior Managing Director Kenny Dudunakis and Senior Directors David Sorensen and Ben Johnson of Berkadia’s Seattle office completed sale on behalf of the seller, California-based New Standard Equities and the buyer, Washington-based The Neiders Company. The deal closed on May 7.
“Anchor Pointe is a very attractive asset in a vibrant region of western Washington. Given the strong tenant demand from Naval Air Station Whidbey Island and other surrounding employers, we believe The Neiders Company will be very happy with the long-term returns and cash flow from this property,” said Sorensen.
Located at 945 N. Oak Harbor St., Anchor Pointe features one- and two- bedroom floor plans with a ceiling fan in select units, a dishwasher, a private balcony and a walk-in closet. Community amenities include a fitness center, reserved parking, community laundry facilities and covered car ports. The property affords convenient access to Joseph Whidbey State Park, Naval Air Station Whidbey Island and North Branch West Papillion Creek.
