SEATTLE – January 23, 2018 – Berkadia today announced the $133.35 million sale of Ballinger Commons Apartment Homes, a multifamily property in Shoreline, Washington. Senior Managing Director Kenny Dudunakis and Directors Ben Johnson and David Sorensen of Berkadia’s Seattle office secured the deal on behalf of the seller, Essex Property Trust, Inc., based in California.
“Ballinger Commons is an incredible piece of real estate and, with nearly 80 acres, it’s the largest apartment site in the Northwest,” said Dudunakis.
The property is located at 2405 N. 202nd Place, offering convenient access to the Seattle metro area. The 485-unit development features one-, two- and three-bedroom floorplans with wood floors, balconies, vaulted ceilings, oversized closets and in-unit washers and dryers. Residents can also enjoy community amenities such as a fitness center, a pool, tennis courts and a clubhouse.
