Berger Partnership Hires Three New Staff Members

Berger Partnership welcomes Cynthia Talley as project manager, and Eunjee Angie Oh and Jianzhao (Leo) Zheng as landscape architectural staff.

Cynthia Talley
Project Manager
Cindy brings over six years of experience on higher education, commercial and public open space projects in California, Massachusetts and Washington, and served as a San Francisco Beautiful Urban Design Fellow. In 2010, she was invited by San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee to serve on the San Francisco Better Market Street Civic Design Advisory Committee to review urban design plans being developed for Market Street by a team that includes Gehl Architects. She holds a Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture from UC Berkeley College of Environmental Design and an undergraduate degree in Studio Art and French Studies from Lewis and Clark College. Cindy draws inspiration from many sources including critical regionalist and regenerative design theories and has a passion for working with and incorporating input gained through public outreach. Her current projects include the Georgetown Wet Weather Treatment Station and Capitol Hill Transit Oriented Development both in Seattle, Washington.

Eunjee Angie Oh, LEED Green Associate
Landscape Architectural Staff
Angie joined Berger Partnership as a member of our landscape architectural staff after earning a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from the University of Washington College of the Built Environment with a minor in architecture. While at UW, she received three Washington Chapter ASLA Student Honor Awards and one Merit Award. She participated in the UW Design Build project creating a healing garden at the Veterans Affairs, Puget Sound Hospital. Her interests include a wide range of projects that weave sustainability, aesthetics and social well-being to create solutions for a better future. She is currently working on Howard Street Bridge at Riverfront Park, Spokane, and the Interdisciplinary Science Center at Eastern Washington University in Cheney, Washington.

Jianzhao (Leo) Zheng
Intern and Landscape Architectural Staff
Leo began the summer as our intern and ended it as a member of our landscape architectural staff. He joins us with a Master’s of Urban Planning from the University of Michigan and Bachelor Degree in Engineering from South China University of Technology. Growing up in an urban setting with a strong dichotomy between the built and natural environments drives Leo to explore solutions that bring urban richness and natural beauty together. He will be working on Riverfront Park in Spokane and the Snoqualmie Riverwalk in Snoqualmie, Washington.
