Seattle, WA (April 2023) – Tarragon is pleased to announce signing a 293,000 SF lease with Allen Distribution at its SeaPORT Logistics Center. Allen Distribution has leased all of Building 5 at the Class A Industrial Park in Sumner, WA. This is the sixth building of the 2.7 million SF assemblage. The team constructed Building 5 with 40′ clear height ceilings, a 9″ fully reinforced slab, upgraded lighting, 42 dock doors, and 56 trailer stalls.
Allen Distribution is a family owned and operated third-party logistics company headquartered inCarlisle, PA, with over 30 years of experience. They are a leading logistics provider in the food and beverage space and currently operate over 8 million SF of warehouse space across the United States in Pennsylvania, Texas, and California. Their 293,000 SF lease at SeaPORT will be their first venture into Washington’s industrial market.

The brokers involved in this deal were Billy Moultrie and Kimberly Jacobsen of Lee and Associates, representing Allen Distribution, and John Gilliland and John Sullivan of the Seattle office of CBRE, representing SeaPORT. The project team includes Tarragon, Developer; Sierra Construction, General Contractor; Nelson, Architect and AHBL, Civil Engineer.
Strategically located in Sumner’s thriving industrial core, SeaPORT Logistics Center provides convenient access to State Route 167, the Interstate 5 corridor, and proximity to the Port of Seattle, Port of Tacoma, and SeaTac International Airport. The SeaPORT site also has excellent visibility from Stewart Rd E and East Valley Highway E. It is well-suited to accommodate industrial traffic with signalized access, a four-lane lighted truck access to all buildings throughout the park, and thoughtful truck circulation.
The industrial park won NAIOP’s Industrial Speculative Development of the Year in 2021, and upon completion, the industrial park will likely consist of eight buildings.
