99-Unit Holiday Inn Express & Suites Everett Sold to EKOB Inc. for $17MM

Sales activity in Everett does not appear to be slowing down. One recent deal was the sale of the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Everett for $17 million, or approximately $171,717 per unit, according to Snohomish County property records. The buyer was an entity affiliated with NITSI, LLC, in Redmond, and the seller was an entity affiliated with EKOB, Inc.

Located at 131 128th St. SW, the hotel is affiliated with IHG and is a three-story building with 99 rooms, according to the property’s website. It has one meeting room available to guests, and the largest room has a capacity for up to 55 people. Features offered to guests include an indoor pool, indoor whirlpool and a fitness center.. 

There are also a number of nearby neighborhood attractions, such as the Boeing Tour Center and Future of Flight Aviation Center, the Alderwood and Everett malls, Seattle Center, Space Needle, Pike Place Market and the Snohomish Antique Mall.

Everett has seen multiple sales transactions in the past six months across a variety of markets. In early November,  Bosa Development purchased a warehouse for $13 million, or about $96 per square foot from Rohr, Inc., which is affiliated with Collins Aerospace and Raytheon Technologies, according to previous reporting by The Registry. That building is located at 2615 94th St. SW in Everett’s Bomarc Business Park and is approximately 135,257 square feet.

In October, an entity associated with New York-based Abacus Capital Group purchased the 316-unit The Winsley apartment community located at 9900 12th Ave. W for $92 million, or about $291,139 per unit. The seller was an entity associated with Blackstone. And in a separate transaction earlier this year, The RMR Group sold a two-building office property for $31.5 million, or about $281 per square foot. The buyer was listed as Everett WA I SGF LLC, an entity affiliated with Boyd Watterson.
