95,000 SQFT Interbay Self Storage Opens in Seattle

SEATTLE, WA – Jackson | Main Architecture is pleased to announce that Interbay Self Storage, a four story, 95,000 SF self-storage facility in Seattle, has opened. Owned by Crystal Peaks Storage Group, the business is located at 1561 West Armory Way just west of 15th Avenue W next to Whole Foods and adjacent to the neighborhoods of Magnolia and Queen Anne.

Located in an industrial-zoned valley, the project offers storage solutions to an underserved area. The facility features 68,776 SF rentable square feet of storage space, and offers 883 heated storage units as well a covered load/unloading area to keep customers protected on hot or rainy days. Advanced security features were incorporated into the property, including 24-hour digitally recorded video surveillance, controlled access and secure cylinder locks on storage units.

Designed by Jackson | Main Architecture, the project focused on utilizing color, varied materials and depths, and transparent elements. The result is an asset to the community that raises the standard for storage facility design.

The self-storage facility was built by Sierra Construction Company and is professionally managed by West Coast Self-Storage Group of Everett. The project team also included PACLAND, DOWL, Visser Engineering, and Ken Large Landscape Architecture.
