March 15, 2017, Seattle, WA – The Colliers’ Seattle Apartment Team of Tim McKay, Dan Chhan, and Sam Wayne announced the sale of a five parcel, 44,333 square foot development site on South Jackson Street, between 9th and 10th Avenue South. The future home of 249 affordable housing units, 8,000 square feet of retail, and 80 parking spaces sold for $8,815,000, or $198.84/SF on March 10, 2017.
The seller was a local family who owns property throughout the International District. The buyer was Inland Group, a developer out of Spokane, WA who specializes in high density residential development, including affordable housing, throughout the Western United States.
The Colliers Seattle Apartment Team represented both sides of the transaction. Chris Giles of Cannon Commercial also participated in the transaction.
