Everett’s Waterfront Place Set to Expand Restaurant Row with an RFP for Two Additional Buildings

The Port of Everett isn’t just transforming its waterfront; it’s building a destination. With the highly anticipated Restaurant Row expansion, the port is set to issue a Request For Proposals (RFP) on May 7th, inviting developers to help develop two new retail buildings and a 78-stall parking lot. These additions to the vibrant Fisherman’s Harbor area within the Waterfront Place redevelopment may become a true culinary haven.

Architects at BCRA have envisioned two captivating structures for Restaurant Row – A12 and A6 – overlooking the bustling Port of Everett Marina. Building A12 will rise two stories with an inviting 15,000 square feet of space, while A6 offers a cozy 5,952 square-foot single-story experience, plus a generous mezzanine. Builders will conquer the unique waterfront terrain with deep-soil foundations, ensuring these buildings are as beautiful as they are resilient.

Inside, tenants will benefit from state-of-the-art mechanical systems for climate control, allowing chefs to express their culinary creativity in comfortable environments. The exteriors will feature metal panels, stone cladding, and wood elements – a seamless blend into the modern yet timeless waterfront landscape.

The success of Restaurant Row’s first building last summer proved there’s an appetite for waterfront dining in Everett. Building A6 is already fully leased. Diners will soon savor the fresh catch and craft beers at The Net Sheds fish and chips restaurant/market and Lazy Boy Brewing.

The larger A12 building is a testament to the concept’s popularity. Tapped Public House, Rustic Cork Wine Bar, Hamilton Cellars, and the always-fun Menchie’s @ the Marina are committed tenants. The Port of Everett is determined to diversify its offerings and is actively seeking a Mexican restaurant to fill the remaining 2,800-square-foot suite.

Restaurant Row is a key piece in the grand tapestry of Waterfront Place. This 65-acre project is redefining urban waterfront living. Fisherman’s Harbor already boasts the stylish Hotel Indigo and the modern Waterfront Place Apartments, proving it’s a place to stay and play.

The next chapter will unfold in the Millwright District, just under half a mile away. There, the Port’s partner, LPC West, has partnered with international design collective RIOS to bring a new wave of restaurants, commercial space, and residences. The Port is diligently preparing the Millwright site for this exciting future development.

From its industrial past to its vibrant present, Everett’s waterfront is in the midst of a stunning renaissance, and Restaurant Row is leading the culinary charge.
