VTS & Yardi Collaborate to Create Standard Interface for Yardi Voyager

Direct Integration Provides Users With a Complete View of Their Tenant Base and Active leasing

NEW YORK, NY–(Jun 16, 2016) – VTS, the industry’s leading leasing and asset management platform, today announced a collaborative interface with Yardi Voyager, the leader in business-wide platforms for property and investment management. By joining Yardi’s Standard Interface Partnership Program (SIPP), VTS is able to work with Yardi to leverage Voyager’s open system and develop a standard API interface with Yardi Voyager 7S for direct integration of lease-level data. The standard interface will allow VTS and Yardi users to have a complete view of robust data sets, including leasing activity and exposure, in one place.

This standard interface further enhances VTS Connect, which integrates disparate technologies and data services into one centralized platform. The interface enables VTS and Yardi clients to pull contracted lease data, which serves as a baseline for all deals, into the VTS platform. With a view of contracted lease data, building activities, and lease exposure in one place, asset managers, brokers and landlords can make informed decisions faster and ultimately increase the yield on their portfolios.

“We are thrilled to collaborate with Yardi to co-develop this API for our mutual customers,” said Grant Wood, head of global solutions and alliances, VTS. “With VTS Connect, our goal is to create a hub of tools and data needed to drive smarter, faster deals. Contracted lease data is fundamental to all deals, making the interface with Yardi an important addition to VTS Connect.”

“VTS’s direct integration with Yardi saves our leasing and asset management teams time by consolidating all of contracted lease and building data into one place. Now, every team member can make smarter, more informed decisions. It’s critical to have these datasets side-by-side because contracted lease data informs every new deal,” said Eric Marx, senior vice president, Equity Commonwealth.

The new API will speed up VTS and Yardi’s existing integration process by reducing deployment time. Additionally, VTS and Yardi’s co-developed API ensures integration sustainability as both the VTS and Yardi platforms evolve. Both companies have dedicated resource for interface development to ensure the standard API meets client needs.
