UPS Buys Industrial Asset in Lynnwood for $15MM

The Best Auto Parts, a used card and auto supplies business located on 2.61 acre lot in Lynnwood, sold for $15 million to an entity associated with Atlanta-based United Parcel Service, the global shipping and logistics company. The seller was Roberta Ellis, Trustee of the Peter A Campbell Testamentary Trust, which had owned the property for some years.

According to Snohomish County public records, the address for the entity listed for the buyer is that of UPS World Headquarters in Atlanta, GA at 55 Glenlake Pkwy N.E., which did not disclose the plans the company has for this location.

While unable to provide any details about the Lynnwood site, Kim Krebs, manager of urgent communications at UPS wrote in an email statement, “UPS continually evaluates where and how to best to expand our facilities to meet growing demand and efficiently manage our network. Once UPS leadership has made a decision, we will share any project details.”

The property is located at 18100 Highway 99, along the Hwy 99 Corridor. The property is northwest of the Alderwood Mall and is surrounded by a number of other auto retail including Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Pick-n-Pull, Mercedes-Benz, AP Collision Center, Seaview Buick GMC, Brakes for Less and Absolute Auto Body Inc.
