Truebeck Construction Welcomes John Hartman as Project Executive

Portland, OR – Truebeck Construction, an industry-leading commercial general contractor, is pleased to welcome John Hartman as Project Executive.

With over 21 years in construction, Hartman has worked with some of the Portland region’s leading companies such as Nike and Intel. Most notably, he worked on the LeBron James Innovation Center at the Nike World Headquarters, totaling 700,000sf and the second-largest LEED Platinum building on the West Coast. In addition to commercial office and high-tech projects, Hartman has experience in the public sector having done work for the city on The Portland Building and Department of Environmental Quality.

A key part of Hartman’s career was spent focused on bioscience construction in the Boston region for over a decade. As life science developments continue to grow in the Portland region, Hartman’s extensive experience in a major bioscience global hub will bring immediate value to clients bringing bioscience facilities and companies into Portland.

Off the job site, Hartman supports organizations focused on the health and safety of their community. He has been active with the American Heart Association as well as the SafeBuild Alliance.

“We’re excited to have John join team Truebeck,” shared Ryan Wood, Director of Construction. “He brings local market knowledge and relationships, a history of building technically challenging ground-up projects, and executive-level experience and mentorship.”

“I am excited to join a company that has both a strong internal culture as well as a mentality of challenging the norm and raising the bar on what is possible in construction,” said Hartman. “I look forward to jumping in and expanding our operations in Portland and continuing to see what’s possible.”

Hartman holds a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering Technology from the Wentworth Institute of Technology.
