Tarragon Announces Promotions of Benjamin Waiss and Jake Self

Tarragon is thrilled to announce the promotions of Benjamin Waiss and Jake Self within our organization.

Waiss

Benjamin Waiss has been promoted to Director of Development. Ben embarked on his Tarragon career in 2014 and has made remarkable contributions in developing our industrial portfolio over the past nine years, notably on projects like Salmon Creek Corporate Park and SeaPORT Logistics Center in Sumner, WA. Presently, he oversees all day-to-day operations at SeaPORT Logistics Center as well as Tarragon’s other efforts throughout the Northwest. Ben’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts degree from Caroll College, where he specialized in Civil Engineering. Before transitioning to development, Ben worked as a Civil Engineer at Huitt-Zollars. Ben is an active member of NAIOPWA and previously served as one of the Co-Chairs for NAIOPWA’s South Sound Committee.

Self

Jake Self has been promoted to the position of Development Associate. Jake started as an intern at Tarragon in 2023. He has become integral to our industrial team, contributing on projects in the Puget Sound region as well as Eastern Washington and Idaho. Before his time at Tarragon, Jake honed his skills at a brokerage firm, representing tenants and owners in the industrial sector. Jake holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Washington State University.
