Swinerton Names Brad Peterson to Executive Leadership Team
SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 19, 2020 – Swinerton is proud to announce a key leadership transition, naming Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Brad Peterson to the executive leadership team, effective immediately. As CFO, Brad provides leadership for the company’s financial concerns, which include equity, tax, audit, treasury management, and operations accounting. In Swinerton’s evolving organization, his focus is on developing progressive financial tools to effectively manage our lines of business and the overall bottom line for our employee-owners.
After graduating from the University of California, Davis with a Bachelor of Science in Managerial Economics, Brad spent the early years of his career on construction jobsites managing project accounting, where he developed a passion for partnering with field teams to provide meaningful, timely, and accurate financial and budgeting information. Brad started at Swinerton in 2000 as Assistant Corporate Controller, from which he progressed through several roles with increasing responsibilities such as Corporate Controller, Vice President of Finance, and CFO. He has been a member of the Swinerton Incorporated board of directors since 2019.

His background coupled with his tenure on The Swinerton Foundation board of directors adds depth to the financial knowledge of Swinerton’s leadership team. As a member of the Executive Committee, Brad will take on a leadership role in Swinerton’s strategic investments from real estate assets to development projects and other exciting endeavors on the horizon, and provide valuable insight into Swinerton’s continuing geographic and service expansion.
