Los Angeles, Calif. (October 23, 2018) – Robert Thornburgh, SIOR, executive vice president and partner at Kidder Mathews, was named 2019 global president of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors® (SIOR) during the SIOR Fall World Conference on October 10, 2018 in Denver, Colorado.
Thornburgh is a member of Kidder Mathews leadership team, and is involved with the firm’s strategic business development and brokerage recruitment in the Greater Los Angeles region. He has over 20 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry. Before joining Kidder Mathews, he was the CEO of Heger Industrial, which merged with Kidder Mathews in 2017.
Thornburgh holds three of the most respected designations within the commercial real estate industry – SIOR, Society of Industrial and Office Realtors, CCIM, Certified Commercial Investment Member, and CPM, Certified Property Manager through the Institute of Real Estate Management. This is a distinction that less than one percent of all national Commercial Real Estate practitioners hold. Thornburgh is also immersed within various local, prominent organizations.
