Active listings across the Northwest Multiple Listing Service footprint climbed 24.5 percent in September to their highest level in 12 years, while pending sales posted their steepest decline of 2026 and rising mortgage rates pushed months of inventory to 4.44, handing buyers leverage they have not held in more than a decade.
