Award-Winning Artisan Winery to Open New Location Offering Luxury Wines in Expertly Curated ‘Wine Walk Row’

Woodinville, Wash. – MainStreet Property Group LLC, a full-service Kirkland-based real estate developer, along with partner HAL Real Estate, today announced that acclaimed artisan winery L’Ecole N° 41 (L’Ecole) will open a new location in The Schoolhouse District’s ‘Wine Walk Row’.

As the winery’s first Western Washington location, L’Ecole will soon occupy 1,415 sq. ft. in The Schoolhouse District’s popular Wine Walk Row, which provides a curated collection of wine tasting rooms.

“At L’Ecole, we’ve long-considered expanding our flagship Walla Walla Valley location into Seattle and especially the Woodinville area—but nothing has ever turned our heads quite like Wine Walk Row at the Schoolhouse District,” said Marty Clubb, Managing Winemaker and Co-Owner of L’Ecole.

“The overall quality of The Schoolhouse District plan, the ingenuity of the team members from MainStreet Property Group bringing it to fruition, and the promise of an exciting new wine district carved out in the heart of a city that truly celebrates wine appealed to us like no other. Their professionalism was so reassuring, and it was easy to share in their vision for a top-rate guest experience,” continued Clubb. “We’re thrilled to be opening in such a special place.”

“We are beyond excited to welcome L’Ecole Winery and their team to Wine Walk Row and The Schoolhouse District,” said Kelly Price, President of MainStreet Property Group LLC. “When we met at their Walla Walla winery, located in a historic schoolhouse of its own, it was an obvious fit. Having them now be a part of The Schoolhouse District project in Woodinville is outstanding.”

In Woodinville, L’Ecole will offer a tasting experience for those discovering their wines for the first time, focused on education about the Walla Walla Valley and the company’s varietals — as well as an enjoyable space for those who already love L’Ecole’s wines, such as the renowned Ferguson or other winery-exclusive bottlings.

Slated to open in June 2022, the company will kick off its opening with a month of new vintage releases, special tasting opportunities and select library offerings pulled from their Schoolhouse cellar in the Walla Walla Valley. L’Ecole’s Vins de L’Ecole Wine Club members will also be invited to join a special grand opening event.
