Julie Chase Joins Streetsense to Lead Firm’s Growing Public Relations Practice

Strengthened practice to play key role in firm’s global growth strategy

Bethesda, Md. (June 18, 2019) – Streetsense, an experience-focused strategy and design collective, today announced Julie Chase has joined the firm as Managing Director, Public Relations.

With more than 25 years of experience, Julie is an expert in media relations and corporate reputation management. Having supported corporate and nonprofit clients across multiple industries—including real estate, retail, healthcare, and consumer goods—she is well-positioned to help grow Streetsense’s public relations practice, which supports clients with media relations, public affairs, events, and crisis communications.

“Streetsense is a strong collective of experts—from architects and planners to designers and communications strategists—that provide clients a rare competitive advantage,” said Chase. “I’m ambitious to lead this dynamic public relations practice to articulate and bolster our clients’ stories powerfully, efficiently, and to the right audiences.”

Prior to joining Streetsense, Julie founded both Chase Communications and ChasePR. She is an active member of the Urban Land Institute among other professional organizations, as well as currently serving on the charitable boards of the V Foundation for Cancer Research, CulturalDC, and The Choral Arts Society of Washington. Strengthening the firm’s public relations practice will complement the ongoing growth of Streetsense, including the opening of new offices in the U.S. and Europe, expanding services, and a joint venture with CBRE Group, Inc. (NYSE: CBRE), the world’s largest commercial real estate services and investment firm.  “Julie’s deep experience in public relations will be an immediate value-add for our clients who are, increasingly, looking for a firm to not only transform a brand but also manage the public perception and reputation of that brand over the long term, ” said Brian Taff, CEO of Streetsense. “Further, as Streetsense continues to grow into new markets, Julie will play an integral role in developing our global communications strategy.”
