Intracorp Starts Construction on 129 Residences in Two Puget Sound Neighborhoods

Seattle, Wash. (Sept. 30, 2019) – Prominent North American developer, Intracorp, announced today that it has started construction on two unique communities bringing 129 townhomes to Issaquah and Seattle’s Beacon Hill.

Nestled on the northeastern slope of Squak Mountain and located just one-mile south of downtown Issaquah, Kelkari is a collection of 71 new townhomes featuring three- and four-bedroom floorplans ranging in size from 1,800 to 2,400 square feet. Each home will come complete with an attached two-car, side-by-side garage and multiple decks with views of the “Issaquah Alps”. Priced from the $700Ks to $900Ks, the first homes are expected to be ready for occupancy next summer with project completion slated for early 2022.

Designed by the award-winning Freiheit Architects and Baylis Architects, the homes at Kelkari will offer Kelkari’s signature mountain lodge architecture drawing inspiration from the wooded, natural surroundings. Each home will come equipped with upgraded finishes including polished quartz countertops, wood flooring and gas stoves, perfect for entertaining. Residents will also enjoy a range of amenities paying homage to the community’s native environment including the community clubhouse with exposed timbers and a river rock fireplace, an outdoor rock amphitheater and direct access to trail connections and territorial views.

Intracorp’s second development now underway is the soon-to-be-named community located on S. Cloverdale Street in Seattle’s Beacon Hill neighborhood. Featuring a collection of 58 new residences, the community will be comprised of two- and three-bedroom rowhomes, paired homes, townhomes and single-family detached homes. Each home will feature its own private garage and most will have a private yard or outdoor area. Priced from the $600Ks to the $800Ks, the first homes are expected to be ready for occupancy next spring with completion slated for late 2021.

Designed by Johnston Architects, the Cloverdale Street development will feature Intracorp’s signature Northwest contemporary archicture in a master-planned community rarely found in the city of Seattle.  Perched atop the south end of Beacon Hill, these residences will offer an experience of light and airiness with mountain, lake and territorial views. With Cloverdale located just a quarter-of-a-mile from the Rainier Beach Link Light Rail station, residents will  appreciate the easy access to the Seattle Central Business District via a 20-minute light rail ride.

“We’re very excited to offer homebuyers the opportunity to live within two, one-of-a-kind developments that are both so different than what’s currently on the market in the Seattle area,” said Christine Johnson, vice president of marketing and sales for Intracorp. “At Kelkari, residents will love the feeling of coming home to a secluded mountain retreat with access to some of the best hiking, biking and other outdoor adventures while still having easy access to employers on the Eastside and in Seattle. At the Cloverdale development, the scale of the project coupled with the spectacular bright and airy outlooks from the residences is something rarely found in Seattle.”
