New Leader to Focus on Strategic Business Development, Enhancing Client Services

DENVER (September 11, 2018) – Global commercial real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield has named industry veteran Dave Fanning head of the company’s Data Center Advisory Group, the firm announced today. The Data Center Advisory Group delivers real estate solutions for mission critical users, owners and environments and leverages the firm’s full suite of services and offerings.

In his new role, Fanning, who currently serves as an Executive Managing Director of Cushman & Wakefield’s Global Occupier Services (GOS) platform, will be responsible for strategic business development, marketing the group’s qualifications and expertise and enhancing client services. He brings more than two decades of data center experience to the job, including a previous stint as Global Sales and Solutions Director of CBRE’s data center business. Throughout his career, he has worked extensively with a wide variety of data center users, and most recently worked as an advisor to investors entering the space.

Fanning joined Cushman & Wakefield in January 2018 to focus on strategic client development and became a contributing member to the Data Center Advisory Group at that time. He is based in Denver and will work closely with the group’s executive committee members in Chicago, Dallas, London, New Jersey, Northern California, Northern Virginia, Tampa and Toronto to grow and strengthen the firm’s service delivery and market share both across the Americas and globally.

“Dave’s extensive knowledge of the data center sector and his strong occupier expertise are incredible assets to Cushman & Wakefield as we expand and strengthen the services offered by our Data Center Advisory Group,” said Sara Gougarty, Managing Director, Advisory Platform Leader at Cushman & Wakefield. “We are confident he will skillfully guide our data center platform to new heights as we extend our service capabilities and increase our growing market share in this sector.”
