Grosvenor Americas Appoints Steve Guberer as Senior Vice President, Capital Markets

Guberer to lead capital markets activities in North America from Washington, D.C. office

Grosvenor Americas (‘Grosvenor’), a privately owned international investor and developer, announces Steve Guberer has joined the company as Senior Vice President, Capital Markets.Based in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office, Steve will lead Grosvenor’s capital markets activities in the U.S. and Canada.  

Steve’s corporate finance and capital markets experience spans 20+ years. He has executed more than 40 M&A advisory and capital raising transactions representing $20bn of total capital for clients within the real estate, gaming, lodging, and leisure sectors. He joins Grosvenor from CBRE where he was responsible for originating, executing, and marketing over $1bn of equity annually in real estate private placements across various core and niche sectors.  

With significant growth planned over the next decade, Grosvenor will broaden relationships among like-minded institutional investors with the goal of capitalizing the USD $2.7bn pipeline and delivering on our World Green Building Council’s Net Zero Carbon Buildings Commitment to achieve net zero operations portfolio-wide by 2030. In addition to managing existing and new capital relationships through the investment cycle, Steve will lead capital raising activity for the net zero build-to-core programmatic residential development and value-add investment strategies in the firm’s high growth markets of Seattle, Vancouver, the San Francisco Bay Area and the Greater Washington, D.C. Area. He will also liaise with North American institutional investors looking to partner with Grosvenor globally.
