Cushman & Wakefield, a global leader in commercial real estate services, announced today that Michael Daley has been named Global Chief Marketing Officer, reporting to Global President Tod Lickerman. Mr. Daley will be based in New York City.
Mr. Daley, formerly CMO at Mercer, has been advising Cushman & Wakefield during the integration of its historic merger with DTZ. Since that time he has helped shape the strategy and structure of the global marketing and communications team, and now he will lead the team in a full time capacity.

Mr. Daley has over 30 years of experience in both the business-to-business and business-to-consumer segments, managing global marketing and sales organizations or running businesses. Before having helped launch a start-up, he was the Chief Marketing & Sales Officer at Mercer, a global professional services firm. Prior to that, he was the Executive Vice President of Marketing & Distribution at Principal Financial Group; Senior Vice President – Defined Contribution business and Head of Marketing for Cigna’s Retirement Services division; and a Head of Global Product Management for Bankers Trust. He also managed businesses for T. Rowe Price Associates and Quaker Oats.
Mr. Daley holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics degree from University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business.
